Here is a great video with a powerful message. Just think of all the images we are facing every day. No wonder it is hard for many, both woman and men, boys and girls, to appreciate who they are and how they look. This video is a reminder of how many images bombard our minds everyday.

Stop and Frisk
Watch the above video called Stop-And-Frisk: The High School Senior. In your own blog comment on the problems African American males are facing, and explain what you think is needed to prevent this treatment. What do you think about this issue? Do you think we have similar issues in the city of Toronto?
The Truth about Autocomplete
Auto Complete is really AUTO-INCOMPLETE
A little while ago, the advertising firm Ogilvy and Mather put together an ad campaign for UN Women - a United Nations entity for gender equality and the empowerment of women. Organizations like UN Women exist because women are still being oppressed and abused.
Ogilvy and Mather created a simple and powerful campaign idea using real suggested search terms from Google's autocomplete feature, and what they found was shocking. It revealed upsetting facts about how the world still views women.
Take a look at the video below and the campaign. Once you have looked at both sources, write a post about your reaction to what you have seen and read. Make sure to answer the following questions as well. Why do you think these sexist attitudes still exist? What affects do these attitudes have on women, cultures and societies? What can we do to change these attitudes?
